Current preoccupations Much of our work these days is benefitting from our discussions with colleagues and graduate students in the LOG (Langage, Organisation et Gouvernance) working group who meet weekly in the Department of Communication. The LOG group were the guiding force behind the May 2008 ICA preconference held in Montreal on the subject of "Materiality Agency and Discourse" which was well attended and provoked much stimulating debate among participants. At the same time we continue with our own research and analysis, recently completing the following manuscript which has been accepted for publication by Routledge : Taylor, J. R. & Van Every, E. J. (in press). The situated organization : Case studies in the pragmatics of communication research.
